Things are going Fantastic!

This week was a real good week. I had a ton of fun and we worked hard. We tried something a little bit new for our finding efforts. A lot of roads haven't been knocked out here in awhile but the houses are way spread out so walking it isn't that effective. So we got on our bikes and we bike knocked some of the boonie roads. It was WAY effective so we are going to be doing some more of that as of this week. It was tiring, I was way tired but not bad enough to not do it again.
Things have been going well and within the next two weeks we should have two baptisms so that is always good.  The ward is picking up and starting to make some solid commitments.
This week I am going to the Portland Temple with a recent convert of a few months. We have been working to get him to the Temple for a while now and we get to go. It's going to be awesome!! The Portland Temple is absolutely gorgeous.
Other than that things are going fantastic!  We are just work work working.
I love you guys and hope you are all doing great!

Zion Camp Zone Conference

This week was a good one. We had the opportunity to see lots of our investigators and had an awesome Zone Conference. We went to Zions Camp. A church owned camp in Belfair. We did a bunch of team building games and worked together as a zone to get things done. Honestly our zone sucked at most of them except like 1 or two of them. The different activities were a lot of fun and really eye opening to step out of the missionary life for a day and be into situations that apply to missionary work. Taking the activities that I did growing up at camps and applying them to mission life instead of regular life. It was fun.

Then the rest of the week was pretty normal. The weather doesn't feel like everyone told me summer would be like. It is rainy and then warm and then rainy again. Usually partly cloudy so the heat isn't bad and that is always nice. There has been some absolutely gorgeous sunsets and rainbows too. I'll attach a couple pictures. We were knocking on doors and it was pouring rain but there was a rainbow behind us and it was really pretty. So we had to take a picture.

Other than that the week was pretty normal. A couple of our investigators fell off date for baptism and a couple new ones on. We are working to help them to prepare for baptism near the beginning of July. Hope you all have a great week!

It is so awesome to help others come unto Christ all day every day.

Hello Everyone!

This week was a really good week. We had a lot of lessons and as a mission had a goal to invite 5000 people to be baptized. We invited 11,000 + and as a companionship invited over 100 people so this week we are going to do the same but we have a goal as a mission of 12,000 people to be baptized. It will be way awesome to see the people who we invite be ready to commit and be baptized in the next couple of weeks. It is so awesome to help others come unto Christ all day every day.

We have been doing a lot of finding and have found a decent amount but not a ton. We are working on it though. Usually we find people and go to a return appointment and then they fall off so it is a struggle to keep second or 3rd appointments with some people. We are doing well.. I am enjoying the area a lot. The weather is way crazy and random though, it goes from 90 degrees to 50/60 degrees in the course of like a day..not the ideal but I can't complain. It could be worse.

Other than that the week was pretty usual and we are getting the things accomplished that we need to. I hope that you all are doing well and enjoying the summer time now that it is summer for everyone! I love you all and hope that you have a great week!

Working Hard and Staying Focused

Hey Everyone!

First week of a new transfer and things are going really well. Staying in the same area for 3 transfers is the longest I have done but I feel a lot more comfortable with things out here now than the first time I spent 3 transfers in Poulsbo. The ward is doing well and things are really starting to pick up. This week we had the opportunity to teach Nicole Buxton twice and be able to see their family 3 times. They are a young family and Nicole is 9. She is planning to be baptized on Sunday the 19th in the evening. That will be really exciting. The Thompson weren't able to come to their Dad's this weekend so we will have to wait until Saturday to teach them this week but they are doing well and really hoping to help them prepare for baptism. They will make a great impact on the ward and the people around us.

This week the temperatures have been crazy hot. We got in the car on Sunday after church and it said 102 degrees. When we got home at night at looked at the temperature in our apartment it said 96. In our apartment. That sucked but it got worked out. We have Air Conditioning like not a lot of people do out here, but we haven't been using it because we don't want the bill to be too high for the church or something?? I don't really know why. But our landlord is going to fix it today so the apartment shouldn't be quite as hot but I guess by the end of this week it is going to be in the 60's again so that won't be too bad. Hopefully it will cool down fast and we will be able to not be soaked in sweat every day. I love it though so it isn't too bad. (:

Other than that this week was pretty normal. Just working hard and making sure that we are staying focused all the time so that we can accomplish everything that our Heavenly Father has in store for us. Hot weather and sunshine is way better than the rain so it is easier to get things done. Hope that you all have a fantastic week!!
